Diamond Steamers carpet cleaning service deliver the best in residential and commercial cleaning. First, we will walk through the areas to be cleaned with you, our customer. We will address any concerns you may have. We will evaluate and determine any areas that may require special attention. Next, we pre-spray and pre-spot the entire carpeted areas to be steam cleaned. We use natural cleaning products, which are completely biodegradable and non-toxic. They are 100% safe for children as well as pets. Our pre-spray is made from citrus-based products that will naturally break down the dirt, grit, and grime in your carpets. Next, for our equipment we use our state-of-the-art truck-mounted units to extract the pre-spray and break down the soils. Our truck mounted water temperature runs between 230 and 240 degrees. Not only do these high temperatures clean better, they also sterilize the carpet. When we are extracting, we use nothing but soft water from our on-board water softener. This completely removes any cleaning products, residue, and soil to insure a clean, soft, and fresh smelling carpet when we are finished. All of this is included in our up-front prices.

The manual scrub wand is the professional carpet cleaning instrument that most people are familiar with. It has been around for decades and is widely used by our competitors. At Diamond Steamers, we still carry manual scrub wands and use them in certain circumstances as required. The wand is a good cleaning tool for cleaning lightly soiled carpet; however, when it is used to clean more heavily soiled carpet, the wand can require an immense amount of effort from the technician in order to receive satisfactory results. The repetitive motion of scrubbing back and forth is extremely strenuous and fatiguing. When cleaning results become this dependent upon the strength, stamina, and technique of the person working the wand, service quality can vary.
tHE WAND
The Rotovac 360i is an electric power tool. Comparing the Rotovac 360i to a wand is like comparing a skill saw to a handsaw. Rotovac 360i has converted a back and forth manual task to a much easier and more efficient rotary mechanized operation. It would take the strength and energy of several men to accomplish what the Rotovac 360i can. One of the fundamental aspects of the cleaning process is agitation. Agitation is the friction needed to loosen the dirt and grime particles allowing them to be removed from the carpet. Scrubbing the heavy traffic areas and spots is often required. With the traditional wand, you’re left with a single back and forth motion and the strength, technique and stamina of the technician working the wand. The Rotovac 360i makes more cleaning passes per minute than is possible with a manual scrub wand. In addition, the cleaning passes are from all directions rather than just back and forth. The Rotovac 360i also controls toxins that can be released when steam is applied to carpet. Of course Diamond Steamers technicians use only cleaning products free of toxins, but using a traditional wand can fill the air with harmful vapors from cleaning chemicals left behind by other cleaners. This health hazard is avoided with the Rotovac 360i, which encapsulates the entire cleaning process under its metal hood.

We’ve perfected the technique of repairing using “permanent sections.” We cut out the damaged carpet and patch in a new piece of matching carpet—so it looks just like the rest of the carpet.
If you don’t have any carpet remnant we can take a piece from an inconspicuous place in your home—the back of a closet for example—patch that with one a similar piece from our truck and then use the match to repair the visible damage we’re repairing.
